2010 Golfing Goals

Here are my golfing goals for the 2010 golf season:

1. Get in shape and lose weight (229, Jan 1st), I was walking and working out 5 days a week but stopped a few weeks ago. I will try to start up again and get back in the groove.

2. Start taking my kids to the range as soon as it get warm, at least two times a week.

3. Play at least 20 rounds of golf (18 holes).

4. Play 10 new courses.

5. Lower handicap to 18.

6. Stop the above double bogey golf and minimise the lost ball penalties.

7. Record a score under 85.

Ocean Acres Country Club

Played Ocean Acres Country Club, one of four Owned and managed by the Allfourclub. This course was in the same average condition as the other three courses they own. Since they have such low prices compared to the surrounding areas courses, this course gets a lot of play. I did enjoy the 10th hole, par three island hole. Ok course to play if you have not played it, this is why I was there. Once was enough!

Wild Oaks Golf Club

I played Wild Oaks Golf club for the first time, an average course, easy to get around. The course was in average condition, the pro shop and bar were in a trailer, I would not go out of my way to play this course again.
